For A., who should remember that at the end of every journey there is a handful of red berries waiting for her.

Things I should know

ReplyDeleteDear Cris,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comeback! On my birthday, too! This is the most wonderful gift in years! And thank you for the beautiful tapestries. 'Foliage, Light and Wind'! Which, somehow, reminded me of Turner's 'Rain,Steam and Speed' - same colors, same fleeting moments!
The wind. A nice friend but a treacherous lover! And you, dear lady, a sorceress, you know how to capture the wind in your photos! The blurred soul of a young wind who is ravaging images and animating windmills. Magnificent, cruel, hyperbolic. Pinned down by the slender, elegant turbines, their white diligence unmistakable in the distance!
And the wondrous little red berries, wearing their cheery-like pride in the dark just as I was the exhaustion and weariness of the last few months! I could bask in their red glamor! I would steal their small solid ego, their irrepressible defiance. Yes, thank you, they are mine now. I wish they were me!
...cherry-like pride, sorry.
Dear ones,
ReplyDeleteThank you again for visiting this blog and for leaving such beautiful comments which made me quite happy back in July. Whatever I might say now, so many weeks after your posts, does not truly express that feeling of joy.
As you can see, I am not very good with words lately, but I hope you will forgive my summer mood.
Do not fret, it will be autumn soon. :-)
