Things I should know

Hi, Cris,
ReplyDeleteA truly Gothic image! Dynamic, terrifying, yet so frail! The trees, upright, almost uprooted, look so delicate voicing their despair and supplication! Like bereft women! Alas, there is no God in the field in this weather!
Wait, I can see the wind! It has physicality, you captured its devastating malevolent power.
But, an incurable optimist, I prefer to wake up the next morning and quote Shakespeare again (sorry):
A little gale will soon disperse that cloud
And blow it to the source from whence it came:
The very beams will dry those vapours up,
For every cloud engenders not a storm.(Henry VI)
Oh, Dear Anonymous Woman,
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful images you recreate from the ones that I show. Trees like bereft women, voicing their despair to silent or missing Gods... I could never be tired of this as I couldn't get tired of Shakespeare as long as you quote him.
Thank you!
